Platform Privacy Policy

At Folloze, protecting privacy is central to how our platform operates. This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes how Folloze, Inc. and its affiliated companies (“Folloze,” “we,” “us,” and “our”) collect, use, and safegurds personal data, information when Folloze is used as a customer engagement platform by our customers — for example, when end-users interact with Folloze-powered campaigns, personalized experiences, or communications.

This Folloze Platform Privacy Policy is a supporting document to the general Folloze Privacy Policy. It applies specifically when Folloze is used by customers as a customer engagement platform.     1. Information Collected Through the Folloze Platform

       When customers use Folloze to deliver engagement experiences, the platform may collect:

  • Contact Information
    Provided by end-users when they register for events, download content, or respond to campaigns (e.g., name, email, company).

  • Engagement Information
    Activity data such as pages viewed, buttons clicked, forms submitted, time spent, or content downloaded.

  • Technical Information
    Automatically collected data such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and general location (inferred from IP).

    2. Information Collected Through the Folloze Platform

        Information collected through the Folloze platform may be used by our customers to:

  • Deliver personalized experiences and campaigns.

  • Communicate with end-users about relevant content, events, or product updates.

  • Analyze engagement to improve campaign performance and effectiveness.

  • Ensure platform security and reliability.

        Folloze itself may also use aggregated and anonymized data to improve platform features and performance.

     3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

     The Folloze platform uses cookies and similar technologies to enable customer engagement experiences. These      include:

  • Essential Cookies – required for the platform to operate (e.g., remembering session details).

  • Analytics Cookies – provide insights into how end-users interact with content, helping customers measure engagement.

     End-users have the ability to control or reject the use of cookies:

  • You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings at any time.

  • You may also reject the use of non-essential cookies when interacting with a Folloze-powered experience, when a consent mechanism is presented.

  • Please note that if you disable or reject cookies, some features of the Folloze platform may not function properly, and your experience may be limited.

    4. Sharing of Information

    
    – End-user information is made available to the Folloze customer delivering the campaign or experience.

  • With Service Providers – Data may be shared with trusted vendors that support platform operations (hosting, analytics, delivery).

  • For Legal or Security Purposes – Information may be disclosed if required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety.

     Folloze does not sell personal information collected through the platform.

     5. End User Rights and Choices

  • Access or request a copy of their information.

  • Request corrections or updates.

  • Request deletion of their information, subject to legal obligations.

  • Opt out of receiving communications delivered through the Folloze platform.

    Such requests can typically be exercised by contacting the Folloze customer delivering the experience and are executing by Folloze.

    6. Data Protection

    Folloze uses industry-standard safeguards to protect information processed on the platform. We work continuously to safeguard data against unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure.

    7. Roles and Responsibilities (Data Controller vs. Data Processor)

    When customers use Folloze as a customer engagement platform:

  • Customers act as the Data Controller. They decide what information is collected, how it is used, and for what purposes.

  • Folloze acts as the Data Processor. We process end-user data strictly on behalf of our customers and in accordance with their instructions, as required to provide the platform.

    This means that while Folloze provides the technology, the ultimate responsibility for data collection and use lies with the customer delivering the engagement experience.

    8. Data Retention
  • Customer Responsibility
    As the Data Controller, Folloze customers determine the duration for which personal data collected through the platform is retained. Folloze processes and stores such data only for as long as instructed by the customer.
  • Folloze Retention Practices
    Folloze retains platform data only as long as necessary to:
    • Deliver the services requested by the customer,
    • Maintain security, audit, and system integrity, and
    • Comply with applicable legal obligations.
  • Deletion and De-Identification
    Folloze deletes or de-identifies end-user personal data upon the customer’s request, in accordance with contractual terms and subject to applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Backup and Logs
    Certain information may remain in secure backups or logs for a limited period (generally up to 90 days) for disaster recovery, business continuity, and security purposes.
