It is not happy people who are thankful, it is thankful people who are happy

I’m a pretty happy-go-lucky person–well at least most of the time, therefore, it’s no wonder I have so many things to be thankful for this Thanksgiving season. Taking a moment each year to give pause and reflect upon the people, places, and opportunities in life that have helped shaped who we are, is not only a humbling experience but also something that I look forward to each year.

On a personal level, I’m thankful for a whole host of reasons this holiday season. I’m thankful for having spent another great year with my four-legged furry sidekick and Folloze mascot Mochi. I’m thankful for the dozens upon dozens of live concerts that I was able to attend this year, as I’m a firm believer that music truly soothes the soul. I’m extremely appreciative of the unwavering love and support of my friends and family –and especially the strong bond that I have with my sister.

While I’m sure I’m not alone when it comes to grumbling about the high cost of living in the SF Bay Area, I do also find myself very thankful for all that my home base has to offer. Want to go skiing? Simply take a scenic 4-hour drive up to the mountains. Wine country? No problem. It’s just a 60-minute jaunt up the 101. Surf’s up? No sweat. Hop on the N-Judah streetcar and you can be at Ocean Beach in half an hour.

As a marketer, I’m equally thankful for a number of things this season. I’m particularly thankful to have spent another rewarding year working in MarTech. In doing so, not only do I get to keep my finger on the pulse of the marketing technology landscape, but I also get to interface and problem-solve with like-minded marketing professionals on a daily basis. I’m also beyond thankful that our investors continue to believe in the Folloze mission of delivering full-funnel hyper-personalization at scale by supporting us with a recent series B funding round.

Lastly, as head of Marketing at Folloze, not only am I thankful for our strong MarTech stack that supports our ABM strategy day in and day out, but most importantly, I’m extremely thankful for the amazing Folloze team. As cheesy as the “there’s no ‘I’ in TEAM” saying goes, the message still rings true. We could not have achieved this year’s tremendous successes without the hard work, grit, dedication, and passion of each and every one of our Folloze employees from California to Israel.
