Access & Security: 2FA for Board Protection

What is it?

We've expanded the Access & Security options that are available to you for protecting your Boards. This means there's a new, even more secure option for limiting your Board to only specific, pre-approved audiences. In addition to random URL tokenization and password protection, you can now fully secure your Board using 2-factor authentication to ensure only authorized visitors can view your content.

Why is it important?

In the past few months, we've seen an increase in the number of use cases that involve sharing sensitive information and content. From submitting RFPS to building 1:1 account Boards for late stage deals to creating resource centers for internal usage, it's important to give both your own team and your Board visitors peace of mind when confidential content is being shared.

What are the specifics?

Access & Security settings are currently controlled at the Board level. To view the Access & Security settings for an individual Board, open that Board and navigate to the Settings icon in the bottom left corner of your screen. From there, you'll be prompted to select from a list of security options.

Choose 'By Email' from the list. Once selected, you can authorize visitors by email domain(s) and/or automatically authorize contacts who are invited via Folloze email campaign or trackable link.

ENHANCEMENTS

Account Engagement Dashboard: CRM Integration

One of the first enhancements to our recently announced Account Engagement Dashboard is the ability to display the dashboard directly inside CRM.

For both Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics customers, you can provide your sales teams with more direct access to this shared view of account-level engagement, including all the available drilldowns and contact-level detail, directly inside the tool that sits at the center of their day-to-day.

Cookie Placing Events

We've developed a new, more advanced method for how Folloze leaves cookies with visitors to your Boards. This update allows you to connect a third-party cookie control provider to Folloze to control whether the cookie drop event occurs or not.

Basically, when this feature is enabled, Folloze will wait to drop a cookie until the integrated cookie control platform gives the green light (for example, when a visitor specifically opts in to accepting cookies).

Restrict Data Export to Admins Only

A new setting is available for admins to restrict data exporting so that only other admin-level users can have the ability to export data themselves from Folloze. This setting can be enabled within the Company Admin pane and covers exports from both the Pulse Table as well as the Campaigns tab.

This change should further protect PII and other sensitive information, especially within larger, matrixed organizations.
