ENHANCEMENTS
Stronger User ID: "Use my profile for lead testing"
With this enhancement that was released earlier this month, you will never need to worry about over-writing your own cookie by clicking on a Board link that contains a different identity (say, that of a customer contact).
Instead, your identity (i.e. what is stored in your cookie and what will appear in the Pulse Table) can now based on your status as a Folloze user so that it can’t be overwritten. This makes it much more difficult for you to accidentally change your identity to something incorrect which typically happens during Board testing.
Of course, this also means that if you choose to keep this enabled, it’s an even bigger best practice to test Boards in Incognito Mode, especially when testing personalization rules by “forcing” query parameters in the URL.

This new feature is on by default for all users. If you decide you need to disable it for whatever reason, simply navigate to the 'Campaigns' tab under 'My Settings'.
COMING SOON
Article: Author Bio
By popular request, we’re working on a small improvement to Articles so that you can create an Author Bio and display that within the Article itself. Currently, you can designate yourself or any other Folloze user within your company as an Author for an Article, but only the Author’s name and face would be inserted into the Article.

This new feature means you can set up a proper Author Bio with additional details about who the Author really is. It's a great way to humanize an Article's Author and elevate their name and face within the Article itself.
New CTA & Visitor Status: Registration
What better way to prepare for the official upcoming launch of Folloze Live Events than to announce a major announcement before the launch has even occurred.
This first major update for Folloze Live Events centers around a brand new Click Action type for CTA Buttons called 'Registration'. Although it may sound similar to the 'Form' option, there are a few key differences.
First, selecting 'Registration' allows you to easily set up some basic email automation for what happens when a Board visitor completes and submits a registration form. You'll be able to define and edit an email template using our existing email editor, and you'll even be able to designate who the email should be sent from. For Folloze Live Events, this is how you'll provide an event link and confirmation emails to registered attendees.
Second, a new column will soon be available inside the Pulse Table to track Registration Status for Board visitors. Initially, this will include the registration status of visitors, but over time, this will also include additional statuses to cover the entire event lifecycle (e.g., attended, no show, etc.).
Content Performance Report
We’ve been hard at work trying to significantly improve reporting within Folloze, and one of the first major steps in this direction is a new report type that will be made available for Company Admins.

This Content Performance Report allows you to pull and download a report that displays content engagement metrics per individual content asset. Admins will have the ability to define several additional filters, including which Board(s) and channel(s) to pull content usage for and what time period to display engagement from.
Visual Redesign
This has been teased only once in the past, but we’ve been working on a visual overhaul of the Folloze platform to make it easier to access different features and give the platform as a whole a more modern look and feel.

Once this visual redesign is developed and released, you’ll find it easier to travel between different areas of the platform, and new users will find it easier to onboard and get acquainted as well.
Note to Readers:
This is our sixth installment of the Folloze Product Spotlight, and as a Product Marketer, it’s been one of the best ways for me to learn more about the product (both what exists now AND what will exist in the future).
You might find this month’s edition a little light on meaningful enhancements. Since January, our Product team has been laser-focused on shipping new capabilities - some requested by customers, some a pleasant surprise. Because of this, we’d decided to spend the last couple of weeks furiously addressing a list of known bugs and making back-end enhancements so the platform feels smoother for you. If we’ve done our job well, you might not even notice anything at all on your end.
In lieu of many major updates to share this month, I decided instead to share a sneak peek of what’s coming right around the corner over the next couple of weeks. Enjoy the sneak peek, and as always, here’s a quick thanks for taking the time out of your busy day to stay up to date with Folloze. See you next month!
