Company Templates

What is it?
Company Templates is a new global channel which can be used to curate a selection of pre-approved templates for sharing to all other Folloze users within your organization. Your organization now has the ability to define templates from a brand, layout and design perspective that users can make copies of as a starting point for building their own Boards.
Why is it important?
Establishing successful templates for widespread use is a key best practice for success with Folloze. Customers that leverage templates well tend to use templates in one of two ways:
- Templates serve as a starting point that Creators can final-mile
- Templates serve as a guidebook of best practices for layouts and brand standards
This new release simply streamlines the process of managing templates in a single location that can be easily shared with large groups of users at a time.
What are the specifics?
By default, Company Admins and Editors are owners of the Company Templates channel which means they are Editors on all Boards in this channel as well. On the other hand, all other users will be Subscribers by default to this channel and its Boards. To use a template, a Subscriber simply needs to duplicate it and then make edits as necessary.

ENHANCEMENTS
Access & Security: Privacy Message for 2FA

You can now set a privacy message to appear when authenticating Board visitors by email. Since visitors are identifying themselves, your organization may be required to share privacy information on submit. If so, you can select the appropriate privacy message in the same place where you enable 2FA.

Content Engagement Report: New Report Fields

We've made a small update to the Content Engagement Report. Now, when you download this report, you'll see additional columns representing:
- Article Author
- Article Publish Date
- Vanity URL
- Item Source
- Item Image URL
Additionally, we've reformatted the columns so that columns with engagement data are moved to the left and categories now appear in individual columns instead.
For a refresher on the different Report types currently available to Admins, including the Content Engagement Report, read "Gaining Insights into Boards, People, Engagement and Activity" in the Help Center.
Analytics: Filtering Bot Activity
We've improved our ability to detect bot activity on Boards and filter them out of the Pulse Table and other analytics. This should improve the trustworthiness of engagement data and also reduce the number of API calls being used to send engagement data back into systems of record like CRM and MAP.
Live Board: Search Enhancements

We've enhanced the search bar functionality that can be turned on for Board visitors. Now, when a visitor interacts with the search bar, Folloze will check Author Name, Bio, Publish Date, and Type as well.

Access & Security: Re-authenticate Every Time

We're currently working on an additional enhancement for our password and 2FA security settings that will enable you to require that Board visitors authenticate themselves even more frequently than before. This enhancement is being developed in response to a number of use cases where customers are building very sensitive Boards to share very sensitive content - things like RFPs and pricing quotes.
When enabled, Folloze will forget a visitor's identity every 30 minutes, and they will need to re-authenticate via email or password every visit.
Because this may negatively impact the visitor experience of a Board, It's important to call out that you'll want to use this option sparingly in cases where security is a primary concern and content being shared is highly sensitive.

When asked for a fun fact, Jeremiah thought you should know...
"I love to travel and learn about different cultures and people groups. I was born in Thailand. My parents were both teachers at a university, so I've had this appreciation for different languages, cultures and foods since I was very young.
I took that to the next level in college when I studied abroad and backpacked around Europe. Then after college, I lived in Taipei, Taiwan. Now my dream is to someday travel and live abroad with my wife and kids."
When it comes to using Folloze, Jeremiah thought you should know...

Anyone with a Folloze username can install the Chrome plug-in, and then you'll get instant access to notifications about visitor activity on your Folloze Boards right within Salesforce. Plus, the plug-in makes it easy for you to send Folloze content to a lead or contact without ever having to leave Salesforce."

NOTE TO READERS
The Holiday season is here! With Q4 coming to a close, it's a great time to reflect on the past year. I know that for me, this year has flown by, and it seems like just yesterday that we were all looking forward to 2021. Whether personally or professionally, I hope you move into 2022 with even more optimism and energy than you had 12 months ago.
Looking at the last 12 months for Folloze, so much has changed for us as we look past COVID and look to grow as a company. We've had the fortune of meeting plenty of brand new customers who are finding their first success with Folloze, and of course, they're doing so on the backs of other customers who have been finding success with us for several years now. I've always said that one of the coolest things about working at Folloze is that customers aren't shy about sharing their love for our product. It really does make my job in product marketing that much easier.
As we go into the final leg of the holiday season, I hope you find time for rest and recovery. We all celebrate the holidays a little differently, so I'd like to end my last note of the year by saying, "I hope this holiday season is everything you need it to be and more."
